Smoking in older age causes signifcant health effects giving rise to impairment of independence and quality of life.
Sandwell Stop Smoking Service provides specialist services to meet the needs of older people and people with disability. Our service is committted to equality and inclusion of all smokers wishing to accces our service when they are ready to quit.
We provide a home visiting service for those people who have diffculty in attending servcies provided in groups and clinics.
We work in close partnership with other local agencies in Sandwell such as Agewell, Age Concern and Sandwell Deaf group aiming to develop services for people with a disabilty.
