Virtually all enclosed public places and workplaces in England have now become smokefree to protect people from secondhand smoke.
Sandwell Stop Smoking Service is committed to supporting workplaces and employees achieving and maintaining smoke freedom. (see employers area or click here)
Our service is designed to allow easier access to stop smoking services for all Sandwell employees and aims to reduce health inequalities. Our workplace service is for all workplaces whether you are a large, medium or small business. We aim to work around your business needs amnd be as flexible as possible for your company.

Occupational Hazards and Smoking
Smoking augments the hazardous effects of many chemicals, dusts, fumes and gasses in the workplace and increases the rate of development and the severity of many work-related illness e.g. lung diseases and cancers (visit ASH)
Groups or one to ones within your company last on average six weeks but support maybe ongoing for the length of your treatment (12 weeks max).
