Well done on becoming a healthier smokefree workplace
Sandwell Stop Smoking Service can provide ongoing support for our local businesses in Sandwell.
We provide onsite stop smoking activities for workers who are motivated to stop smoking. We aim to be flexibile around your work commitments and can assist large, medium or small businesses.
We provide awareness sessions regarding smoking and current issues, free advice regarding your ‘Smoke Free workplace policy’, and/or train staff member(s) to provide such services within your own company (visit smokefreeengland) for more information
During workplace sessions staff are given information on the different treatments available for them to use in helping them to quit
Hopefully you are now beginning to see some of the possible benefits for your business with the introduction of the Smokefree Legislation:
- Reduced absenteeism
- Increased productivity
- Removal of potential future litigation due to second-hand smoke exposure
- Improved staff relations & morale
- Improved company image
- Healthier workforce
However many employees find it difficult to access healthcare facilities out side their place of work, by holding activities on site; workers can gain access to help they may need.
